Julio Omier ’20 (Ed.D.) is assistant principal of Rancho Mirage High School. He thanks his U of R dissertation chair, Professor Adriana Ruiz Alvarado, and all of his “outstanding” professors in the School of Education, including Professors Jose Lalas, Andrew Wall, and Nicol Howard, for giving him the courage to be a social justice change agent.
